To be clear about what we do: Caliche supplies the roll-off container and hauls the debris to the landfill. We are not a demolition contractor — you, your general contractor, or a licensed demo crew do the actual wrecking. Our part is having the right box on site, swapping it as it fills, and disposing of the load on a certified scale with a ticket you can verify. ⚠️ Asbestos: Test and Abate First
Older Las Cruces homes and commercial buildings can contain asbestos in flooring, popcorn ceilings, siding, and pipe insulation. It must be tested and, if present, removed by a certified abatement contractor before demolition — it cannot go in the dumpster. Asbestos is regulated separately under federal NESHAP and New Mexico rules.

Keep a clean masonry-only load in its own box where you can — it disposes at a lower rate than rubble mixed with wood and drywall, so on a full teardown it usually trims the total disposal bill.

Every load goes to the SCSWA landfill across an NMED-certified scale, and the ticket lands on your invoice — disposal billed at the real per-ton rate, no markup. Regulated demolition debris is logged on a manifest under NMAC 20.9.8, the chain-of-custody record an owner, executor, or inspector may ask to see. Do you do the demolition, or just provide the dumpster?
We provide the roll-off and haul the debris — we’re the disposal side, not a demolition contractor. You, your GC, or your demo crew do the teardown; we set the box, swap it as it fills, and take the debris to the landfill on a certified scale. If you still need someone to do the wrecking, a licensed demolition contractor handles that part.
